Alec Watson is a pianist, organist, and composer serving as Minister of Music at St. John in the Wilderness. He is a graduate of the Dave Brubeck Institute Fellowship program, and holds a Bachelors of Music from the New England Conservatory. An avid musical omnivore, Alec pulls from a variety of traditions including Baroque counterpoint, early American folk music, ambient improvisation, and Jazz. When not at St. Johns, you can find Alec walking out in the woods, playing chess, or trying to perfect his french omelette technique.
