Father Art has been a priest in the Episcopal Church for almost 30 years. As the Rector of St. John's, he is the chief pastor, teacher, and worship leader. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing the parish staff and working with various lay leaders as they engage their ministries. Father Art understands that a community of faith is healthiest when all members give of their lives for the sake of the community and the community gives its life for the sake of the world. He has six children, out of the nest and flying on their own. Father Art enjoys walking, canoeing, skiing, backpacking, and just spending time in the glory of God's creation. He began his ministry with the people of St. John's in 2018.
